Step aboard Persistence, our beautifully restored Friendship Sloop, and experience the timeless charm of traditional Maine sailing. With her classic lines and graceful motion, Persistence offers a unique and peaceful way to explore Rockland Harbor and the surrounding Penobscot Bay. Ideal for small groups and families, this charter provides a hands-on sailing experience or a relaxed cruise under sail, guided by a knowledgeable local captain.
Or you may choose to cruise the coast in comfort and style aboard Jockey, our elegant classic motor vessel. Perfect for harbor tours, lighthouse sightseeing, or a relaxing evening on the water, Jockey offers a quiet, stable ride with ample deck space and cozy seating. Whether you’re looking for a private picnic cruise or a scenic trip with friends, Jockey provides a memorable way to experience the beauty of Maine’s maritime heritage.
Whether by sail or powerboat, your charter can include a tour of local lighthouses, a tour of historic Rockland Harbor, or take a look at the harbor's unique ecology, or for longer trips, even take a tour down Mussel Ridge Channel to see the Owl's Head, a classic Maine Fishing harbor.
Feel free to pitch in hoisting the sails or just sit back, relax, and just enjoy the view!
Schedule/Cost: $300 - 2hour sail with a licensed captain. Groups of up to 6 passengers
$400 - 3 hour sail with a licensed captain. Groups of up to 6 passengers.

Not satisfied at keeping these boats for posterity, we want to make sure that people have the opportunity to get out on the water, sailing these vessels as they were intended to be sailed!
