Located on the shores of Rockland's working waterfront, the MidCoast Sailing Center  is the water-based educational program of the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum.  In addition to day sails, private and group lessons, classroom instruction, and charters, we provide FREE classroom and on-board sailing experiences for youth with education in seamanship skills, and exposure to the lure of the sea and Maine's maritime history (see our page on SKFF (Sail Kids For Free).

​A non-profit organization, we promote hands-on, interactive learning experiences on the waterfront in Rockland, Maine. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents and visitors through experiential learning, advocating personal and community growth through sailing's legacy.  

​SKFF FREE Youth Sailing
Monday - Friday, 15 hours/week, age 8 to 14
Our SKFF (Sail Kids For Free) program is held weekday mornings or afternoons, one week per session.
